We Drop Bombs Players Performing

It is now Mid-June and well in to the second half of the baseball season. Following players stats a little bit and talking to parents, I have received updates on how many players that come through We Drop Bombs are progressing. For the 9 year old’s, Ryan Graham is hitting a solid .650 going 39 for 60 with 6 doubles and 11 triples. Matt Christopher is 31 for 57, hitting .544. Keeping your Upper Half Back

Keeping the upper half of your body back is key when attempting to hit the ball hard. It keeps your head still allowing for better eye hand coordination on contact. It also allows your hands to get out quicker in to the palm up / palm down power position. Moving your upper half forward will give the ball approximately a 5 mph increase towards the hitter and cause many balls to be topped and hit towards the ground. There are five different tools that a professional baseball player is evaluated at. The first tool is fielding, the second is throwing (arm strength & accuracy), the third is hitting for average, the fourth is hitting for power and the fifth is speed. The Magic of Super Glue

Every baseball player out there at some point gets a blister or blisters on their hand.  It obviously comes from swinging the bat excessively.  Once your baseball season gets rolling, your hands will obviously get tougher forming what we call a callus.  At that point, there are usually very little issues with blisters.  However in the mean time, if and when they do appear, your best solution is to use Super Glue.
